Andrea Cázares Class of 2015
I graduated from Tecnológico de Monterrey (ITESM) with a degree in Business Creation and Development in 2020, specializing in innovative entrepreneurship and business acceleration with a focus on technology startups. Throughout my major, I co-founded Studersity, a startup aimed at creating the ideal match between high school students and their ideal major using science and technology. Thanks to our startup, I've collaborated with several educational institutions on research topics, including UANL, ITESM, among others. Since 2017, I've been part of the ITESM national mentor network and have received various recognitions, including being part of the top 30 entrepreneur students in Mexico (2019 and 2020) by Global Student Entrepreneur Awards (GSEA). Additionally, I've worked for Foxconn (2020 - 2023) as the leader of the logistics procurement area, as a Business Developer at Local Adventures (2023 - present), and as a co-founder in a consulting firm specializing in processes and business intelligence. My aim is to continue making an impact in the private industry, and I plan to pursue a post-graduate degree in the United States.
I believe that studying at Harkness helped me to have a broad knowledge in different areas, but also to be curious with a desire to constantly learn, research, and ask questions. Similarly, the school contributed to my broad and comprehensive vision during the college decision-making process.
